Whistle from TH350c

I installed a fresh TH350c and there is a noticable whistle coming from it when in gear. It is more noticable when in reverse (a constant whistle when stopped or moving).

The whistle is quieter and not as constant when in a forward gear. I think it gets louder when up to speed but I have loud exhaust (Dynomax bullets muffeling the 468ci) and meaty tires so it is hard to pinpoint. I just notice a sound while driving that wasn't there before I swapped trannys.

The shop is going to take care of it (plus the labor and I installed the trans). I'm just curious if any of you have heard of this or maybe there's a tranny expert here.

The shop owner who built the trans says he seems to remember reading something about a 350 whisle but it was years ago and he has never actually had it happen to a trans he built.

A vacuum leak at the trans???? Is there another source of vacuum other than at the modulator???

The TCI clutch drum was the main upgrade. A larger bearing was also used in the torque converter. The shop owner said as long as it is built right and with the correct parts it will hold up...and he built it.
