They call them 'splined wiper knurls'. I know they are knurled, but that's knot what I would call them.

I'll remove the one I have and take it to the boating supplies store. Maybe they call it another name. At $6-9 plus shipping, I wish I hadn't lost the thing and will probably find it next month.

It's amazing what a good shop cleaning will turn up. I found a still in the box cutoff grinder I bought at least two years ago, thought someone took it.

What's even worse is that I found an additional three pairs (all used) of the things in a small box. At about $10 each (including shipping), I'm now 'rich'.

No idea why I have so many.

Gotta clean more often.
