That's very possible, though I don't know where they'd get a steady supply of high tin/nickel blocks from. Prolly just getting blocks from the junkyard, going over em real thoroughly and stickin an Eagle stroker kit in em. They sell the stroker kit for 699, and are probably making profit off of that, so you figure 700 for the kit, 100 for the block, and that means they're making 600 bucks for machining and assembly, which isn't bad. If the feedback is good on em, go for it, just be sure to get a warranty.

Besides getting the block cheap the rotating assem. they are talking about is pretty cheap

it says it has a cast crank
Probe pistons (which from what I heard are the "cheaper" brand
and 5140 forged rods.

If your going forged most to 4340 forged being the stoggest general type of forging.

To me it sounds like a perfect street daily engine but nothing to go romp with.

If those blocks are in great shape I would buy it and sell the rest back on Ebay lol.

The parts are cheap parts and they are making the money on machine work. Probably as good as any other rebuilt engine you could get and might have a little better parts. I got 230cc Dart Pro1 heads for $925 on ebay and everyone warned me they could be junk. I checked everything out myself and had my machinist look them over. Seems I just got a really good deal.

Plus look at shipping cost. if you get a bad engine you will probably have to pay return shipping which, in a way, adds a couple hundred dollar deductable to the cost. As a side note i have a .040 350 machined for a 400 crank 4bolt 010 020 block with a cracked cylinder if anybody wants it before i toss it speak up.

It was my freinds 383 and he got in a wreck. When he put the motor in his '72 he drove to the muffler shop and said on the way home it got hot. He checked it out, pulled the head and saw water on top of a piston. That piston had a cracked ringland. I sold the heads, crank, rods/pistons...all of it but kept the block. If you want it you can have it. I was going to sell it as scrap but...if anybody can or wants to do something with it feel free.
