Hey guys got a fun project to share 1960 Ranchero 302sbf, c4 trans, mustang 2/Granada suspension, bolt-ons and some port work done myself. Before the port work I was 15.1 in the quarter mile consistently. Havent been on the road for about 6 months, initially due to a bad fuel pump, and now due to over imagination and need for more pretty AN fittings.

Here is my baby, my ball and chain, my Falcon. (ill work on getting more and better pictures.)

Heres some pictures from about 7 years ago when i first finished restoring it with my father ( dad did the paint, his own mix ,one stage. lasted pretty well for how much I drove this.)

THOSE were all older pictures, from before I decided I had ripped the car up enough and it deserved another going over. These next pictured are not for the faint of heart! This is the Ranchero today, being worked on diligently. (dealing with electrical issues from a 50 year old wiring harness)

Stripped down headlights to tails, all old wires have been removed. so i can install this new harness.

lots of little goodies im working on, oil filter relocation and cooler, AN lines everywhere for easier maintenance later. fully redone fuel system with electronic pump and regulator/return line set up. (lots of oxidation to clean up)

Got some good work done today!

about 50% of the wiring harness is installed and routed, still need to get the wiring diagram for a 60's ford steering column as well as ignition cylinder so I can pin my ford steering column to the gm wiring harness. after that i need to make a little instrument cluster wiring harness and splice that in. then i can tuck everything away and finish looming.

heres some pics

Out with the old.

Lots of nice connectors and wiring, I have to say I like the kit speedway sent me.

I started by tying the groups I was routing together. This is the engine bay set.

Routed through the stock holes, I will make some nice plugs later.

I can get you a very nice pic of the pinout for your column.

I have a 65 (uncle bought it new) and recently rewired the car using
GM colors mated to Ford switches

If you have any plans on putting AC in that car (under dash) it would be a good idea to remove the
driver side vent, plug the hole, and mount your fusebox to the firewall near the parking brake .

I have pics of all of that as well-----Vintage AC will not play well with a center mounted fusebox

Here is a little bit of what I have been doing, I will round up that diagram I made for the turns pinouts.
Might take a few days---my home 'puter is at my son in laws getting worked on.

anyone here do timing on a quad cam yet? its soooo fun
