So I plan on rebuilding my transmission in my 1997 z71 4wd this winter. It has the electric transfer case, and I plan to rebuild that at the same time. I can look up the rebuild kits myself obviously but I would like to hear from you guys on the best ones you recommend, and wether or not to go with the corvette servo that most seem to come with now. And what’s the big difference between the corvette servo and the normal servo.

4L60E rebuild kit
As you probably are aware, the 4L60E is an electronic controlled 4L60/700R4. The powertrain part of the transmissions are all virtually the same. Call Dana and he can fix you up with whatever you might need. The guy is a genius and doesn't mind taking the time to help out. And use the sonnax servo. And the 0.500 pressure control valve. And watch a lot of YouTube rebuilds.
