I was at my mother house a few nights ago and she was saying its a shame that the only thing that can get a family together is a wedding or more so ..Funerals.. My son stepped up to the plate and said .. Well just get everyone to buy a hot rod or an old car .. then ya wont be able to get rid of them !!!!

I like it and think its fun because there is such a diverse group of opinionated people! And it does seem like there is a great deal of respect, mutual admiration, and comRODerie too. Plus there is a lot of "unconventional" humor that busts me up a lot.

Lots of "characters" I guess, but no one seems to be too pushy either. Another thing I noticed is that between all of us, we can cover a great deal of subject matter not even related to hot rods. There probably isn't anything somebody might be having a problem with that others here can't help with.

Definitely an above average online community!

Ya, this is an interesting bunch. I laugh more reading the threads on this board than I do reading the Sunday funnies. Throw in the fact that there is a huge amount of mechanical knowledge and it's like meeting with the gearheads at the local filling station. That is, before filling stations became self-serve convenience stores.
