what parts are you trying to swap? Is the 350 a four bolt main or a two bolt main? I need more info. But if you are thinking about putting 350 heads on a 305 forget about it unless they are the small chamber heads.

 

54chevy's right...the General made lots of these parts interchangeable, at least on paper, but you don't always get wat you want out of it. What are you wanting to swap between them?

Well in my 84 Z28, it haad a 305 HO, and i put a 2bolt main 350 in it, they told me i can swap everything bascially. The only thing i ended up using were mounting brackets. everything else is new. They said i can even use the HO heads to raise compression, but i didnt.
