Thought I'd final coat the car this afternoon in my "booth" with SS urethane. I have a gun hook in the booth and normally carry in the gun, shut the door and set the gun on the hook, then reattach my breathing air hose.
So I didn't have to fight with unhooking and rehooking the air hose (and bugs getting in), decided to bring the pail of mixed paint into the booth this evening. Everything was going well and I went back over to refill the cup between coats...filled it, and grabbed the gun out of the hook, at the same time realizing I didn't put the cup lid back on at about the same time I coated the back quarter, the floor, the gun and arm (at least had a Tyvek suit on) with a nice big splash of paint !! Stupid, Stupid, Stupid
Was angry at first, but looks fixable with some patience and time...but still...nice novice mistake...
