On an Edelbrock airgap intake is there a big advantage as to running a coolant line from the two water jacket bosses on the rear of the intake to the ones on front of the intake where the thermostat neck is? See this at the track yesterday and wondered if it would help my motor run any cooler? If so what size -AN line is recommended to use on this?

Seen most plumbed the way you have it, has a run on each side for each head. I also have this set up on a Weiand intake, if you have doughs I would just e mail eldo ,,, but what you are doing should be correct ..

not questioning what others have brought forward, just expressing what my own firsthand experience has been ..

I would advise to use FB'88's schematic, above unless you take water from the side of the block.

With the set-up to plumb water from the water neck back to the intake, I don't see how there would be much flow either way.

It would seem that the pressures at both points would be about the same.

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

people do not get the point in these water outlets are designed so you can tap i the water pump on the heater ports to them or the side of the block to them the whole point is to take water before it goes threw the block to the upper cylinder walls and head area were it gets the hottest and direct it straight to the upper head area to cool the hot spot in any motor
