ok first of its an 83 chevy k10 with a mild 350 when i would start it up it would run great until the choke kicked off then ran like it had bad plug wires or somthing so i started testing the voltage going into the choke it was fine and i acidently bumped the plug on the alternator and it kicked up for a sec so i pulled it out and it ran great alternator test out good but changed it anyways since i had an extra the new on did the same thing so i put an older style distributor and bypassed that computer **** so that i could get it home it didnt make much power but ran smooth any ideas on what to test or what to replace i also tryed putin the old distributor back in and got in a hurry and didnt make my marks and cant get it to start i did the the hole tdc comp with the rotor pointing to #1 no luck tho i need some ideas
