Simple question... how do you know when they're in far enough? I had a quick look down the hole before tapping them in and couldn't really see a positive stop for the pins.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Although i've never done it,(changed the dowel pin's to longer) I've been told that the longer one's make the installation easier.68NovaSS said:There's no rule for the depth, just put them in far enough that the protruding end is enough to get a good fit the bellhousing alignment holes, leave approximately the thickness of the bellhousing exposed.
They can be had in different diameters, from .0621 to .0625 for a tight fit. Extra long are available, up to like 1.5 inches.
