I have been trying to locate some rubber stripping to replace the piece that was worn. The strip is located between the frame rail and a metal flashing piece that contours from the front post to the rear of the quarter panel window.
The width of the piece is 3/4" and the thickness 1/8" or 3/16". The material is rubber and is very soft. This rubber strip seals the flashing/trim to the frame rail and a frame rail weather strip piece glues to the flashing. The Flashing is not made any more so I want to salvage it.
So, what I need is a roll of soft rubber stripping 3/4" wide and about 3/16" thick.
Does anyone know of a supplier?
p.s. The car is a 1965 Mustang Coupe
