One of my friends dropped off his 69 Camaro for body, paint and electrical repairs. While I was lifting the car to put it on jack stands, I noticed the traction bars (Lakewood) are u-bolted tight to the spring at the front. There is no hole in the center for the snubber to hit the spring eye but there are tabs on either side of the bar for a u-bolt like these were installed with. Anybody ever see something like this? I'm thinking it has to ride like a logwagon since the front half of the spring is locked tight.
Thanks in advance for any ideas,
Chip.
