So I finally put my pony back together this weekend. First off I want to thank everyone on this forum for all their advice! I have never painted a car and it was some journey... from stripping down to metal, cutting out the rust, welding in new sheet metal, and shaving of the drip rails, There is no way I could have done it without it and im so glad i took everyones advice to go with SPI universal.

So this was the first time I have ever painted a car and it was nerve recking especially since I was adviced by many people not to spray a metallic color...(had already bought the paint!) So thats PPG Deltron with SPI Universal, I still have some more block sanding to do and polish up the trim...

Thanks! I actually sprayed it at my dad's shop. Its outdoors with gravel and its a metal shop so it wasnt ideal... I used part of the metal over hang, layed down plastic and tarped the corners. I dont know how but i managed to end up with a trash free finish... It also helped that it was sunny San Diego and 72 in february!

Very nice! I like the color, it gives the ole Stang a classy look.
